So I decided to start a blog after some debate. I'll do an about me section soon, but i will probably talk mostly about faith, basketball, and music.
First off, I have been going to the court club for long periods of time recently, trying to improve my basketball game. Well, this got me thinking, if i spend so much time on basketball, shouldn't i spend at least that much time with God? Then i realized that when i play basketball, i should do it to honor God, as a spiritual act of worship(whatever verse that is). So hyping myself up to work as if i will play in college, really shouldnt compare to doing everything as unto the Lord. I'm definitely not perfect, because i couldnt even do this well the whole day without screwing up, but its something i want to work on.
Now, to be less serious. j.j. redick and stephen curry are my two favorite players. i will admit my bias. so i was very happy to see an article today that praised both of them, and didnt even mention the lakers once. Thats all for bball.
I am trying to get into worship team at school right now, and i would like to see some thrice this year, since they are one of my favorite bands. Also, i just got emarosas new cd, its sick except for 1 song that i cant stand. And if you like zombies, The devil wears pradas ep is pretty sweet too.
I dont have anything really funny to say, I do love comedy, and my newly aquired t.a. for a 1st grade class looks promising for future posts.
