1st grade gift

Yesterday I came home for the day only to realize the bmw emblems on my front rims were gone. I'm assuming this happened at cbc, and I would like to thank whoever it is that took them. I definitely didnt like those at all... Black and white roundels, I will miss you.
Today, right after I put $25 dollars of gas in my car, I accelerated going home only to realize that the temperature of my engine liquid was IN THE RED. It then backed off to normal, but the next two times I had to accelerate the temp jumped again, so it looks like I will be taking my car into the shop soon, and driving the van tomorrow.
This dumb event coming the day after I wrote a paper for English 101 saying I think everything happens for a reason because of God's plan. What could possibly be the plan in this? I may never know.
On a brighter note, I was doing regular t.a. duties today when one of my favorites in the class, a little asian girl named Shay who I also had in my sunday school class 2 years ago, came up to me, and handed me a piece of paper that had a good number of scissor cuts in it. Just cuts, no cut out parts, with one fold in the paper and some cuts along that fold.
"It's a snowflake." Shay says.
"That's very cool." I replied, as I usually do when kids show me stuff they made.
"For you." She says.
"Well thank you!" I exclaimed, honestly happy about it.
Seriously, I hate saying this, but that is that is so freakin cute! I'm totally keeping that piece of paper. Even if it is probably the worst snowflake I've ever seen, it really is the thought that counts in this case.
Musically, I just found out today, but Tooth and Nail just released Happy Christmas Vol. 5. Basically, it's a bunch of covers of Christmas songs. It features, as usual, a bunch of dumb songs by punk bands like hawk nelson. But, It also features a song by emery that I havent heard. More importantly, it features Zat You Santa Clause by Neon Horse, which is the best Christmas song since Project 86's Christmas EP, and You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch by Queens Club, which is also ridiculously awesome. So I'm pretty stoked about that.
Anyway, thats all I have for tonight
