Two days of CBC have gone by, and I'll be honest, it's more fun than Liberty. At least so far. And I know more people than I do at Liberty, which isnt saying a lot with several thousand CBC students and 70 Liberty high schoolers. All I have to take is Calculus, which I already learned I just need the credit, and English Composition, which requires work but I think will be pretty easy. I mean, today was the first class and I got to spend the lst hour of class writing about what makes a good song.
Most people in the morning are young, a few years within my age. So that is pretty sweet. Almost everyone at night? Not so much. I could be some of their children, which makes it weird to have the same class. Unlike Community, though, I'm the odd one out. Also unlike Community, the Running Start students do not annoy the crap out of the other students. At least as far as I can tell.
My first class is at 10:20. Parking is full by 8:30. I had to park out at the observatory. The OBSERVATORY!! They purposefully have that placed away from the other buildings, it's a nice walk.
I have yet to see Joel McHale, and that disappoints me. On the bright side, I did see Trey(DAWG!) from the club today. It was nice to hear him cussing at someone on his cell phone, it's nice to know people that act the same everywhere they go...
So I realized again yesterday that when my attitude on the court starts to suck, my play starts to suck. And I don't think it's the other way around. Like all people that shoot a lot, I get on hold and cold streaks. It happens to the best, but if I let myself get dissapointed and angry when I'm off, I generally stay off. If I say, 'eh whatever, I know what I did wrong, I'll fix it next time,' I tend to get back into the groove faster. This is a constant battle for me, and if you ever see me getting really mad on the court, please remind me. Basketball is so mental, just like almost everything in this life, and if your state of mind is right, you will play better all around.
If anyone has a band that they are just crazy about, please tell me and I'll check them out. I love finding new music and I've been on a dry spell recently. So anytime you think of a band, hit me up. However, no country, preferably no rap but I won't say there isn't any cool rap out there.
Last note, The Office, 30 rock, and Community are on this week I think. At least 30rock and Community. It will be awesome.
