I'm pretty excited (though I doubt anyone can tell) because my life is doing pretty good right now. Yeah CBC starts on Monday, and I have work to do for applications and SAT prep, but I'm chill about it. I dont really understand worrying about stuff. It just wastes time. Like, I'm worried about scoring 20 points higher on the SAT to get a better scholarship, but it's sort of an afterthought. Whatever happens, God has a plan. I can prepare all I want, and that's smart, but the outcome is God's deal. I can practice up and get really good at basketball, then tear my ACL (that definitely hasnt happened). But guess what, it doesnt matter because God Got Chu! (Since only one person will get this, its a Jimmy Fallon/Worship Team joke at the same time, dont bother telling me how cool I am). So dont worry, be happy. Tomorrow will worry about itself.
Nice Jack in the Box reunion today, even if there were only four of us. I miss Jack Day, I know i can still go every Friday but it's just not the same. Good times.
Tomorrow is the prep vball game, and I think you should go. I'm planning on being there, which is reason enough to go, but it's always a fun game.
One more little topic, made a new chord progression, I just need to add lyrics and it will be sick.
Now some basketball. Fall ball started on Monday, and I am stoked for that season, its always fun. I made a list of my favorite basketball players the other day, and I know you probably don't care, but I'll share it with you anyways. This is a reference point for my bias, by the way.
1. Stephen Curry
JJ Redick (I cant put one higher than the other, they are both stud shooters)
3. Brandon Roy(the local team star, high bball iq, athletic, team player, fundamentally sound)
4. Chris Paul(best pg in the game)
5. Adam Morrison (needs to play more, but has a special place in my heart for the GU years)
6. Kevin Durant(humble, ridiculously nice, and the best scorer in the NBA)
7. Kevin Love(the new Mr. Fundamental, plus he is a 6' 9" white guy who gets crazy numbers)
8. Austin Daye( same as Morrison, but a bit lesser. Reminds me of Cody Brockman with the tall t's)
9. Steve Nash(Hardest working player in the NBA, 3rd best pg, 36 year old 6' white guy, hilarious, what's not to love?)
10. Ray Allen(one of the best pure shooters ever)
Well, that's my thoughts for tonight. Great win in vball against Desales last night.
Solid listy guy. And I will bother telling you how cool you for remembering that that was on Jimmy Fallon as well.
